The enquiry usually outlines a client’s needs for the piece, it’s function or it’s role. It doesn’t have to include a detailed idea of an exact piece; it could be as simple as a desire to incorporate one of Eoghann’s designs into your space. From there he will work with you to find something that fits.
Eoghann will then draw on the brief with the surrounding space, the clients tastes and his own unique style to create the initial drawings. At this point, a design fee is usually taken and multiple designs with corresponding costs are outlined. All designs are carefully hand drawn and rendered using traditional drafting techniques. This is where every detail and facet come together- see the video above to watch Eoghann in action.
After approval of the design by the client, construction work starts. Photos can be sent as the piece comes to fruition. Each piece varies considerably in completion times but communication with the client is kept throughout the process.
